Torres del Paine National Park – Chile

Torres del Paine National Park – located in Chile. Torres Del Paine is a Spanish word which means Towers of Paine. It contains of mountains, a glacier, a lake, and river-rich areas. The Cordillera del Paine is the heart of the park. It situated in a transition area between the Magellanic subpolar forests and the Patagonian Steppes. The park is positioned 112 km (70 mi) north of Puerto Natales and 312 km (194 mi) north of Punta Arenas.

The national park is a famous hiking destination in Chile. There are undoubtedly marked paths and many refugees which provide shelter and basic services. Views are wonderful. Hikers can choose for a day trip to see the towers. Hikers are not permitted to misplace from the paths in the national park. Camping is only allowed at stated campsites and wood fires are forbidden throughout the park. The best time to visit the park is recommended between late December and late February, during the southern summer.
