The Montmorency Falls is a large and beautiful waterfall located on the Montmorency River in Quebec, Canada. The Falls height is 275 foot high and about 30 meters higher than famous Niagara Falls. There are all types of trails and places to travel around in the area. The falls are pretty stunning and there’s a walkway, bridge and path one can take that goes over the top side and then down stairs to a pathway on the far side. A hydroelectric installation at the falls provide power for the region Quebec city. There’s picnic points all over the place so it’s a great spot to go with the family. Crossing the bridge is completely breathtaking but not suggested if you have a fear of heights. At the base there’s a spot to go closer to the falls. The steps look impressive but it was a very easy climb and a chance for some good photo ops. In short, this place is worth visiting.
