Slovak Paradise is a beautiful mountain range located between the town of Spišská Nová Ves in the north and Dobšiná in the south in Slovakia. It is mainly famous for its gorges and waterfalls. It is very well-liked with hikers as it has a numerous extraordinary routes through gorges and waterfalls. There are also many sections where fixed ladders are used to climb. The Slovak Paradise has about 350 caves. The Dobšinská Ice Cave is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is open to the public. The area is surrounded by a park known as Slovak Paradise National Park. The National Park has an area of 197.63 km² (76.3 mi²). The name Paradise itself says the beauty of this place.
