The amazing two oceans meeting spot Two Ocean Aquarium is yet another manifestation of human brain engineering abilities. Ideally situated in the V&A Waterfront, the Two Oceans Aquarium is renowned for its magnificent displays and is much more than that as it is also well known for incredible function and conference venues. The merger of the Great Indian and Vast Atlantic Ocean is utilized in this museum architecture, where you can simply visit and see the flora and the fauna of the two oceans. The one of its kind museum is located at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. The Museum was opened to the general public on 13 November 1995.
The visitors feel connected to the sea life by observing 3000 living sea animals ranging from carnivorous sharks to the soft kelp. The children are amazed by the touch pool where they can hold and play with kelp, shells and sea anemones.
There are seven galleries in the Two Ocean Aquarium include Atlantic Ocean Gallery, Indian Ocean Gallery, Holcim Activity Centre, Cape Fur Seal Exhibit, I&J Predator Exhibit, Kelp Forest Exhibit and Sappi River Meander Exhibit. The Atlantic Ocean Gallery and Indian Ocean Gallery as the name shows allows visitors to observe the life of Atlantic and Indian Ocean. The visitors can see the habitat of translucent jellyfish, tiny and rare Knysna seahorse and giant spider crabs in Atlantic Ocean Gallery. The famous coral reefs of Indian Ocean can be observed in the Indian Ocean Gallery. The I&J Predator Exhibit is famous for ragged-tooth sharks and stingrays. The adventure lovers can dive in the predators’ tank or opt for scuba diving only if they hold a Padi Open Water Certificate. One of the aquarium’s biggest attractions is The Kelp Forest Exhibit- the underwater forest. The Kelp Forest is the home of silver fish.

According to a review it was said that the aquarium will teach you more than you expect about ocean dwellers as you meander around. It’s usually best to book off the entire day as you won’t want to leave.
