The term Longjing was used by the Royals to describe the taste and top quality of the tea, from the tea fields surrounding the Dragon Well. A famous story connected with the Longjing tea is its praise as “Green Queen’ due to its aroma and taste. The tea from the Longjing Tea Fields also got an approval from Emperor Qianlong who was considered as a true connoisseur of teas.

The Google rating is 3.5 stars. The winters are not the best time to visit Longjing Tea Fields. The shops on the plantation can be overpriced in the times of tourist high peak season. The settlement is charming as expressed by most of the visitors. A simple walk through the Longjing Tea Fields is an enchanting experience. The Longjing Tea Fields are also used for multipurpose photo shoots, mostly of wedded couples or advertisements. The hiking on the tea filled mountains is yet another interesting activity that is carried out by several adventure lovers.
