The place to explore the fun that involves science, holograms, optics and fun is none other than Camera Obscura and World of Illusions, located in Edinburgh, Scotland. The place was previously known as the Outlook Tower. The Edinburgh Camera Obscura and World of illusions is located on the Castlehill section of the Royal Mile adjacent to Edinburgh Castle. The idea of this place was conceived and applied by Patrick Geddes in 1982, later he also built one outlook tower in France, Montpellier as well.
The Outlook tower has six floors and is open to public. This is one of the oldest attractions of the United Kingdom. The most interesting section includes the Camera Obscura that is used to project virtual tour of city. The powerful telescopes on the rooftop terrace are highly in demand as the view of city is simply awesome through them and a delightful experience.
