Rio Celeste or Celeste River – Located in Tenorio Volcano National Park of Costa Rica. It is prominent for its unique turquoise pattern, a phenomenon produced by a chemical reaction between sulfur and calcium carbonate. River water is very clear and has a deep sky-blue color twisting through the forest. Rio Celeste means Sky Blue Water. It is one of the famous Costa Rica’s travel destinations. One should not miss while traveling Costa Rica.
