Alentejo – A region which is also called as “The Breadbasket” located in the Portugal.The Portuguese love to spend time at the Alentejo and its coasts. Alentejo is the area famous for its polyphonic singing groups, similar to those found on Sardinia and Corsica. The climate of the region is normally very dry for a large part of the year with summer temperatures rising up to 40 degrees Celsius and mild winters. Alentejo is one of the hottest places of Europe.
